Thomas R Roland studied at the University of Maryland College Park and obtained his Masters at the Loyola College in Maryland. He worked around the globe as Oil and Gas Broker for top oil companies with the likes of Surgutneftegaz, Gulf Oil, Bahrain Petroleum Company, Chevron Corporation, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Exxon Mobil Corp.

He has made his career specializing in developing and managing private equity investments targeted at asset specific investments involving individual high net worth investors, family offices, and institutional investors.

His firms have funded private offerings involving oil and gas exploration, water rights acquisitions, seismic survey development and acquisitions, various pipeline and infrastructure opportunities and other tangible assets. His associated firms have been involved in the drilling and direct participation in excess of 350 wells drilled to date ranging from conventional to non-conventional trends utilizing horizontal drilling since 2003 and frac stimulations.

Thomas R. Roland has been involved either as a managing partner, aligned investor or issuer of investment securities that involved the drilling and exploration, completion and distribution of revenues for wells.

Roland Oil Group's Code of Conduct covers topics such as fair and accurate business dealings, corruption, health and safety, discrimination, and environmental protection. To ensure that all employees understand their obligations, the Code is available in 18 different languages. The Code of Conduct document is supplemented by an on-line training module and is distributed to all our employees annually. Should employees have concerns about violations of company policies or the law, they may report the issue to their supervisor or manager, HR representative, or any member of the Legal or Compliance Department. Alternatively the employee may report through the Ethics Point Department or by telephone helpline. The company prohibits retaliation against people raising concerns.
